STC to launch iPhone 5 on 14 December

Saudi operator STC announced that it will offer Apple's iPhone 5 in the country beginning 14 December. The company is offering customers the chance to pre-book the device through its website. The 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models will be available free of charge in line with STC subsidy plans in outlets across Saudi Arabia. In addition, the iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 are available in the country from 5 December. STC will enable iPhone 5 customers to connect to its advanced HSPA+ and DC-HSDPA networks. In addition, the operator is introducing nano SIM cards for the first time in the country.
