T-Mobile continues You Fix campaign with helpful meter maids

Thursday 29 September 2011 | 10:24 CET | News
A team of T-Mobile UK Meter Maids will this week patrol some of the most ticketed streets in Leeds, Oxford, Bristol, Birmingham and London to help local motorists avoid getting fines, as part of the company's nationwide tour to celebrate the launch of T-Mobile's new You Fix plan. The Meter Maids are part of a campaign by T-Mobile to highlight the benefits of its new You Fix plan which helps customers ensure they never get a nasty surprise when they open their bill at the end of the month. Last week hundreds of motorists were filmed by undercover cameras as they found cash hidden inside authentic looking parking tickets. Thousands of pounds were given out inside the special fines and the best reactions were captured for T-Mobile's new You Fix TV ad. The Meter Maids will be stationed in car parks and streets throughout the week where they'll be fulfilling a variety of tasks designed to help local motorists such as providing change for parking meters, informing drivers if they are in breach of local parking regulations, letting drivers know where they can legally park and alerting them to vacant parking spots.
