Taiwanese operators unveil iPhone 5 pricing

Taiwanese mobile operators Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, and Far EasTone Telecommunications (FET) have announced their Apple iPhone 5 pricing. In addition to two-year contract bundles, Chunghwa and Taiwan Mobile will offer stand-alone devices as well, starting at TWD 21,900 for the 16 GB model, TWD 25,500 for the 32 GB version, and TWD 28,900 for the 64 GB version, The Digitimes writes. Chunghwa further offers the 16 GB model for free on a TWD 1,749 per month contract and the 32 and 64 GB models are free on a TWD 2,549 per month plan. Taiwan Mobile offers the 16 GB version free on a TWD 1,667 per month plan and the 32 and 64 GB models free on a TWD 2,199 per month plan. FET offers the 16 GB iPhone 5 for free on a TWD 1,758 per month plan and the 32 and 64 GB versions are free on a TWD 2,525 per month bundle. The iPhone 5 will go on sale on 14 December.
