Talk Focus to invest MYR 25 to roll out Tron stores

New Malaysian MVNo Talk Focus is planning to invest MYR 25 million over the next eighteen months to open 100 Tron stores. Tron, which has launched services recently, already attracted around 2,000 customers and aims to end 2012 with some 100,000 customers, Bernama writes citing chief executive officer Steven Loke. The company currently has two Tron concept stores, one in Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall and one in Tropicana Mall. "We are also looking to extend the concept stores nationwide, including Sabah and Sarawak," Loke said. Tron offers two starter packs: Beon Lite for MYR 9 and Beon Infinite, which is priced at MYR 98. The MVNO charges MYR 0.20 per minute for voice calls, MYR 0.10 for SMS messages and MYR 0.30 for MMS messages. Internet is priced at MYR 0.15 per MB.
