Wednesday 22 February 2012 | 11:07 CET | News
Deutsche Telekom and Deutsche Bahn have expanded the hotspot offer on ICE trains. With immediate effect, travellers on ICE trains between Mannheim and Freiburg will now benefit from free broadband connections over Wi-Fi. After the completion of the Katzenbergtunnel at the end of the year, internet will be available on the whole journey between Mannheim and Basel. Telekom will equip around 255 ICE trains with free hotspots.
