Terrestrial digital TV launched in Volgograd

The first terrestrial digital TV sender has been deployed in the Volgograd region. The transmitter provides terrestrial digital TV services for 53 percent of the region's population. The major part of the region should be covered in 2012. There are plans to start the service in 41 Russian regions by the end of the year.
