Friday 14 December 2012 | 16:21 CET | News
TIM Brasil announced that customers who pre-registered on its site will be able to buy the iPhone 5 with a BRL 400 discount on the night of the actual launch of the device. As a result, the prices for these customers on December 14 will be BRL 2000 for the 16GB model, BRL 2300 for the 32 GB version and BRL 2600 for the 64 GB version. Normal prices for the unlocked iPhone 5 vary between BRL 2400 and BRL 3000 at TIM Brasil. In total, the operator will open nine shops in the country for new iPhone launch. Even with this discount, the Brazilian iPhone 5 is still the most expensive in the world, according to local reports.
