Verizon, Health Evolution Partners to offer mHealth services

Health care buyout firm Health Evolution Partners and Verizon Enterprise Solutions, Verizon's health IT practice group have collaborated to encourage adoption of connected health information technologies that enable drive patient care improvements. Under a multiyear agreement, Health Evolution Partners (HEP) and Verizon Connected Healthcare Solutions will collaborate to identify and work with companies to spur the development and adoption of advanced IT services and applications in areas such as mobile health, telemedicine and health data management to enable transform health care delivery in the US. The firms will use HEP's health care insight and Verizon's platform-based health IT portfolio of mobility, cloud and IT offerings to accelerate transformative change to develop and expand connected health IT services and applications.
