Virgin Media Business approved for G-Cloud scheme

Virgin Media Business has been approved to provide cloud services under the UK Government's G-Cloud framework initiative. This means that public sector organisations will be able to procure services from Virgin Media Business within the Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) category. G-Cloud is the centrepiece of a Government scheme to develop a secure and high-performance private cloud infrastructure for public authorities. Whitehall estimates that half of its spending on new IT services will be in the cloud by 2015.
