Virgin Media Business boosts channel team by 25%

Virgin Media Business will increase its channel team by 25 percent by end-2012 as part of an overall strategy to expand and grow the reseller arm of the business. Business demand for data, on-going public sector reform and a strategy for growth has led to the creation of the new roles. The current reseller team comprises of around 44 employees split across sales, support and regional leads. The investment in staff will see a new regional lead installed to oversee the company's activities in the Midlands. Nine more sales staff will be hired to meet live opportunities and deal with predicted customer interest. As part of the growth plan, the current regional lead in Northern Ireland will expand their remit to cover the Republic of Ireland.
