Vodafone Germany Foundation unveils R&D award winners

The Vodafone Germany Foundation has given out its annual awards to scientists for their research into the further development of telecommunications. Professor Gerhard Kramer of the Technical University of Munich received the Vodafone Innovation Price including EUR 25,000 for his research into Relay Networks. The Vodafone Research price for science and engineering went to TU Munich's researcher Patrick Henkel for developing a new algorithm to improve satellite-based navigation and the Research Price for market and customer orientation went to Melanie Kramer from the University of Mannheim for her dissertation on complex price systems and their effects on buy decisions
