Vodafone Hungary upgrades network in new counties

Vodafone Hungary is upgrading its network around lake Balaton and in the Fejer, Vas, Veszprem and Zala counties by replacing existing equipment with 3G towers. After replacing equipment, the operator will be able to offer a data transfer rate twice higher than the existing one. A faster EDGE connection will also be available in areas without broadband coverage. Work on the upgrade will last until 30 June.
