Vodafone Romania launched Vodafone Familia, a programme with which new and existing customers can pick the right subscription for them and get supplementary benefits, namely on-net unlimited calls, double data traffic or reductions of monthly fees. Vodafone Familia is addressed to all the members of a family who opt for Vodafone tariff plans whose prices start from EUR 9. Vodafone Familia can be used by two to five family members who opt for an Easy 9 package or a tariff plan from the 'Smart' or 'Red 29' line of subscriptions.
End-users receive a bonus of unlimited on-net calls and double data traffic. At the same time, customers subscribed to a Red tariff plan who opt as of 3 October for a second Red package in the family programme get a EUR 5 discount off the price of the new package if they do not opt for the acquisition of a new smartphone. As a result, Red packages without a phone become priced at EUR 20, 30 and 39 (VAT included), and superior versions include 4G traffic.
In related news, Vodafone launched two new subscriptions for children, namely Smart Kids and Easy Kids, which are available at EUR 8 and EUR 12 per month. These two tariff plans enable parents to efficiently control their children's communication costs. Both tariff plans include a EUR 2 credit which can be used for the acquisition of games, prepaid add-ons or be kept for next months. Beside minutes for calls, SMS and data, the packages include the Vodafone Guardian app, safe SMS and browsing, and Vodafone Protect.
