New Mobile Phone Game Designed To Help World AIDS Day Spectrum Tiles Red Ribbon, a brand new game for mobile phones was released today by Werd Interactive, to commemorate World AIDS Day and help to raise money for HIV/AIDS research. Every copy of the game sold will contribute to AIDS charities around the world. Werd is donating at least one dollar from each game sold to charities which are searching for a cure and directly supporting HIV and AIDS sufferers. The game also features the red ribbon, the symbol of the global fight against HIV and AIDS as a background to each level. The game itself is a simple and accessible puzzle game, which can be played by almost every mobile phone owner. Werd Interactive's Managing Director, Randy Shepherd, says, "HIV and AIDS are a global problem affecting millions of people. We at Werd feel very strongly about the need to educate people. HIV/AIDS is on the rise and it will take a continuous effort to let people know how to protect themselves from the virus, to encourage testing to determine if they are infected, and to let them know that if they are infected, there are many places they can go for help." Spectrum Tiles Red Ribbon costs $4.99 and is available directly from Werd Interactive's website.
