Zimbabwe Online launches Wi-Fi service

ISP Zimbabwe Online has introduced a Wi-Fi service. Various coffee shops and hotels are offering the service from so-called ZOLspots. In an interview with local paper The Herald, ZOL chief operating officer Caroline Mugwanyo said the service had generated substantial interest since starting two months ago, with a large number of establishments requesting a hot spot. Vouchers for the service are good for anything from 15 minutes to two months. In addition to the capital Harare, ZOL is has also started the service in Bulawayo and Mutare.
