T-Systems, onderdeel van Deutsche Telekom, heeft aangekondigd dat het contract met Shell met meer dan vijf jaar wordt verlengd. Het nieuwe contract omvat wereldwijde hosting en storage-diensten.
In de vernieuwde overeenkomst zal T-Systems Shell blijven voorzien van datacenter-infrastructuur en IT-diensten. Shell heeft flexibele SAP-diensten naar de cloud verplaatst. Hierdoor is Shell in staat om het gebruik van ICT-diensten nauwkeurig aan te passen op de behoefte van de business.
