This chart shows the interest of Dutch consumers in creating their own package of digital TV channels. The question asked was: "At the moment TV providers offer different packages of channels from which you can choose one or several. Would you be interested in creating your own package of digital channels? You have the freedom to collect digital channels of your choice, only if they are free. You can not add paid channels like Eredivisie Live or Film 1 for free in the package of your choice. You can add channels which are currently included in a plus or extra package." The answer possibilities were: No, I am satisfied about the current package of digital channels plus the extra channels and packages which are offered; Yes, I would like to choose my own channels (the same amount of free channels I currently have), only if the subscription doesn't become more expensive; Yes, I would like to choose my own channels, but I prefer less free channels in total and lower monthly subscription costs; Yes, I would like to choose my own channels (the same amount of free channels I currently have), even if the subscription becomes more expensive. Don't know answers and 'No, I don't have digital TV and I am not planning to purchase digital TV in the near future' answers have been excluded.
