In this Research Brief we examine the performance of KPN's mobile businesses in the Netherlands (consumer and business), Germany and Belgium. Regulation has a negative effect on service revenues in the Netherlands and Belgium, while Germany will follow. Subscriber growth is positive, except at Consumer NL. Revenue per user (ARPU) is generally flat and revenue per voice minute (RPM) declines), while data revenues increase. KPN reports extensively on all four of its mobile operations. We take a look at the multi-year development since 2006 and calculate a number of complementary metrics.
