KPN reports extensively on its operational performance. In this Research Brief, we focus on the data related to traditional fixed line telephony in the Netherlands, both in the Consumer and the Business division. Loss of lines and revenues is steady, and more pronounced in the Consumer division. The price for an average voice minute appears to be flat over the longer term. In the Consumer market, KPN saw its lines and revenues halve since early 2007. In the Business market, the decline is less severe at almost 30 percent
