Austrian mobile service revenues drop 6.2% in Q4 after termination rate cut

The reduction in mobile termination rates in Austria in November 2013 led to a 6.2 percent drop in mobile service revenues during the fourth quarter of 2013. Compared to Q4 2012, mobile service revenues fell 12.2 percent, to EUR 587 million. The number of mobile subscribers still grew by 68,000 or 0.5 percent during the fourth quarter, to 13.23 million at the end of 2013. Year-on-year, the number decreased by 2.1 percent.
