CGAP's 2016 annual report shows importance of mobile payments but still much more work to be done

CGAP (Consultative Group to Assist the Poor) is a global partnership of 34 leading organisations that seeks to advance financial inclusion. CGAP develops innovative solutions through practical research and active engagement with financial service providers, policy makers, and funders to enable approaches at scale. Member organisations include national development agencies such as ADF or UKAID, financial organisations such as the EIB and the IFC, but also charities such as the Bill&Melinda Gates foundation or the Ford Foundation.
