Dutch subscribe to average 2.3 GB, expect next bundle bigger

Thursday 14 January 2016 | 12:17 CET | Author: Sanne de Bruyckere | Background
Dutch mobile users subscribed to an average data bundle of 2.3 GB at the end of 2015, down from 2.6 GB two years earlier. The figures from the Telecompaper Consumer Panel stand in contrast to the growing number of bundles on the market with 4 GB or more per month. The drop in size may be explained by the growing number of new mobile data users, who tend to opt for smaller bundles at first. At the same time, many mobile users expect their next data subscription to be bigger, on average 300 MB more than their current subscription.
