European banks are moving into HCE m-payment

A growing number of banks in European countries is preparing the launch of m-payment based on Host Card Emulation (HCE). This m-payment technology enables smartphone payment apps, without involvement for the mobile operator or the handset manufacturer. ING Netherlands wants to launch m-payment this year. Though unconfirmed, HCE is almost certain.
