Fixed/mobile mergers to continue in 2018

The coming together of Vodafone and Ziggo has created a unique situation in the Netherlands: two nationwide fixed/mobile operators. We expect fixed/mobile consolidation to continue in 2018 and beyond. There are several candidates who will lead the consolidation. Who becomes the eventual owner of VodafoneZiggo is still unclear though Vodafone seems the most likely possibility. A sale of the company to a third party is also an option, but there would be a significantly lower valuation than the on originally agreed upon by Vodafone and Liberty Global,
