iDEAL champions small online payments

The Dutch banks and payment platform Currence have expanded iDEAL to include support for Consumer-To-Consumer (C2C) payments. The iDEAL payment method was originally designed for online C2B payments, but demand is growing for small-time sellers to handle electronic payments. The first C2C service provider was approved in December. iDEAL changes, but the underlying infrastructure is still controlled by the banks.
