MasterCard to trial mobile payment services in Norway

As contactless payments have started to play a significant role in the replacement of cash, MasterCard is pushing for contactless adoption in all geographies. So far, PayPass trials and rollouts have been conducted or are under way in 31 markets across the globe. Now the card issuer has made another step in bringing contactless payments via mobile phones to the European market by launching a mobile payment services trial in Norway in collaboration with Norway's bank DnB NOR.
