NFC payments need extras like coupons to entice potential customers

The Dutch Telecom Society recently organised an evening about mobile payments with speakers from ING, Mastercard and Vodafone. All three speakers emphasised the fact that NFC payments alone won't win over the Dutch consumer. It needs to be combined with extra services such as ticketing, couponing and loyalty schemes to entice Dutch consumers to use NFC enabled mobile payments.
