PayPal offers payment platform at Dutch festivals

PayPal has linked its payment platform to a music festival in Amsterdam. At the venue, all visitors received a bracelet with an RFID chip, so they could pay for drinks from a digital wallet. PayPal offered the possibility to couple the wallet to a PayPal account. PayPal general manager Benelux Jan-Willem Roest says the brand wants to position itself this way for Dutch consumers.
