Samsung adopts barcode beaming to bring Samsung Pay to more phones

US company Mobeam announced that Samsung has integrated its barcode Beaming technology in the Samsung Pay app. This enables users to display any 1D barcode to scanners at point of sale. The functionality is available to 400 million users. This means that Samsung Pay is not just limited to the newest models like the Galaxy S7.
