T-Mobile to go into m-payment

Deutsche Telekom is taking mobile payment in-house. The telco will launch a mobile wallet in 2012-2013, feed the NFC-chain and add m-commerce under the T-Mobile and ClickandBuy brands. Head-of-technology Thomas Kiessling says that Deutsche Telekom can't afford to wait for the industry to develop standards or shake out the 60-odd mobile wallets that are under construction.
