Weekly news summary: infrastructure assets drive M&A and more KPN takeover talk

News in the past week included new talk of a KPN takeover, another surge in internet traffic at operators from the UK to Japan, and more operators splitting off passive infrastructure. Discovery+ made its debt in the UK and expanded to Eastern Europe, while Amazon and Google are under regulatory pressure for allegedly favouring their own services over third parties using their platforms.
