Italy industrial output down 1.3% in August

Italy's industrial production declined 1.3 percent in August compared to the previous month, when it rose 0.7 percent, according to the latest data from national statistics agency Istat. New research from Uswitch.com shows that almost half (48%) of UK adults, or 26.7 million people, lost their broadband connection in the last year, up 19 percent from 2025. The main cause of broadband outages are power cuts, hitting 42 percent of those affected; followed by provider faults (31%) and router problems (25%). Only 16 percent of those impacted by broadband outages received compensation, with over half (57%) unaware that they could ask for compensation from their broadband provider.
