012 Smile.Communications renames as B Communications

Israeli telecommunications service provider 012 Smile.Communications' shareholders approved the company's name change to 'B Communications'. The company's ordinary shares will begin to trade under its new name and a new trading symbol "bcom" on 17 March. The name change follows the company's acquisition of a controlling stake in incumbent fixed-line operator Bezeq. The company will also launch a private offering of up to ILS 400 million of its ordinary shares in Israel.
