15% of Germans look for partner via dating apps

One in seven smartphone users (15%) in Germany uses dating apps, according to a survey conducted on behalf of IT association Bitkom. One in three dating app users stated that they use the apps "often" or "very often" for flirting or getting to know new people. The apps are about equally popular among female (14%) and male (14%) smartphone users.
