18% of German web users plan Euro 2016 online bets

Almost one fifth (18%) of German internet users plan to make online bets during the Euro 2016 football tournament, according to a survey by industry group Bitkom. This compares to 6 percent during the 2014 football World Cup. Over one fifth (22%) of men will place bets online, compared to 15 percent of women.
