24 Mexico carriers want pro-competitive interconnection fees

24 Mexican pay-TV and mobile operators called on the federal government to apply "pro-competitive" regulations, while offering reciprocal free interconnection with Telcel. The operators claims the measure would benefit Mexico's over 90 million telecoms services users, La Cronica de Hoy reports. According to the companies, the initiative would generate cost savings of nearly MXN 73.5 billion.
