3 Hong Kong starts HD voice facility with new VoLTE network

Thursday 15 May 2014 | 11:30 CET | News
Mobile operator 3 Hong Kong has activated an HD voice facility, following the recent launch of its Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) network. The service will enable customers to enjoy clear and smooth HD calling via 3 Hong Kong's 4G network, as soon as compatible mobile devices become available. 3 Hong Kong's VoLTE network supports VoLTE HD voice, which eliminates the need to switch calls from 4G to 3G networks.
