3 Ireland launches new mobile call recording product for business customers

Wednesday 12 June 2019 | 17:42 CET | News

3 Ireland has launched the country's first mobile call and SMS recording product. Targeted at business customers, this is a secure, SIM-based recording system with encrypted cloud storage.

The product has been developed in response to growing customer demand, especially from Irish financial institutions who are required under EU law to record and store communications, trade and investment-related activity for seven years. Available from July, the new mobile call recording product is managed via a web-based portal for recording retrieval, playback and archiving. 3 Ireland will support customers from a dedicated helpdesk at its business customer care centre in Limerick.
