3 Ireland moves to positive EBIT, cash flow in 2015

3 Ireland reported revenues up 58 percent in 2015 to EUR 689 million, driven by its takeover of O2 Ireland. EBITDA more than doubled to EUR 174 million from EUR 64 million in 2014, and the margin rose to 29 percent from 16 percent over the same period. EBIT moved to a positive EUR 109 million, from breakeven in 2014, and cash flow was a positive EUR 42 million after EUR 132 million in capex last year. The operator ended the year with 2.034 million active customers, down 1 percent. Postpaid subscribers rose by 1 percent to 1.141 million, while the prepaid base was down 3 percent to 893,000.
