3 of V4 countries rank better in mobile than fixed internet

Three of the four Visegrad group (V4) of central European countries rank better for mobile internet connections than for fixed internet connections, according to the report 'The State of Broadband 2013' published by the UN Broadband Commission. Poland ranks 44th for fixed internet connections (16.6 percent penetration) and 33rd for mobile internet connections (49.3 percent). Hungary ranks 34th (22.9 percent) for fixed internet, the Czech Republic ranks 46th (16.6 percent) and Slovakia ranks 49th (14.6 percent).
