3 UK network carries 137 TB of data every day

Around 137 TB of data pass across the 3 UK network every day, equal to 40 percent of all mobile data traffic in the UK. In a blog posting, Director of Network Strategy Phil Sheppard said that 3 UK customers view 1.24 billion Facebook pages a month, with data accounting for 97 percent of total traffic on its network. He added that 60 percent of 3 UK customers are smartphone users, up from 30 percent last year, with the operator expecting this to rise to at least 90 percent over the coming years.
