3 UK to offer free Wi-Fi on London Underground

Thursday 17 July 2014 | 14:58 CET | News
Virgin Media has added 3 UK as the latest wholesale partner for its WiFi on London Underground service. By end-July, 3 customers will get full access to Virgin Media WiFi at more than 137 Tube stations at no extra cost. The deal means that every UK mobile operator is now a wholesale partner for Virgin Media's WiFi service. The total number of London Underground stations enabled with WiFi is also set to increase to 144 next week as seven more stations come online, including Edgware Road and Ealing Broadway.
