43% of German internet users pay for VoD services - survey

Fee-based video-on-demand services recorded significant customer growth in Germany, according to the recent Goldmedia study 'Pay-VoD in Germany 2016 – 2021'. About 43 percent of all internet users in Germany used a paid VoD subscription in April. This is equivalent to approximately 24 million persons, and represents a doubling compared to the end of 2014.
