Slovak mobile operator 4ka has introduces an unlimited data offer and a new unlimited on-net calls offer. For data, customers can use both the operator's LTE and 2G network, as well as the 2G network of Orange Slovakia, under 4ka's national roaming agreement. The unlimited on-net calls offer is an enhancement of the unlimited on-net calls after the third minute of a call, which the operator has been offering already.

The unlimited data tariff costs EUR 12 a month and calls and messages are charged on a per-unit basis. One minute of a call and one SMS cost EUR 0.04.

The package of unlimited on-net calls costs EUR 4 a month. Under the promotion from 13 September to 12 October, both new and current customers can benefit from the free first month. The new package is suitable for customers making long calls in the operator's own network, as otherwise, one minute of call time costs EUR 0.04.

4ka has reported 450,000 customers, but it is not clear what methodology it is using, i.e. customers active over the past three or twelve months, reported Zive.sk. The operator has not disclosed the number of users of additional packages, nor ARPU. In December 2016, the operator reported 300,000 and in April this year 350,000 customers. A representative of the operator told the portal that its own network coverage is currently more than 70 percent, but he did not comment on whether the operator would meet its goal to cover 80 percent by the end of the year.
