54% of German parents do not know child's number by heart

Due to digital devices, Germans remember telephone numbers from their childhood or youth better than their children's or partner's current numbers, according to a study by 'Opinion Matters' on behalf of Kaspersky Lab, onlinekosten.de reports. Kaspersky calls the tendency to forget information saved on a digital device 'digital amnesia'. It found that 54 percent of the parents asked have their children's number saved on their smartphone but do not know it by heart.
