5G auction in Portugal to start in April

The public consultation for 5G auction regulations in Portugal will start this month, followed by the auction itself in April. The total process should be completed in June. The dates were announced by the president of the National Communications Authority (Anacom), Joao Cadete do Matos, who added that the launch of the new technology will depend on the investments that operators will have to make in their networks.
