5GIC teams with London borough for smart-cities research

The University of Surrey's 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) agreed a partnership with the Borough of Greenwich, a municipality in London, for research into smart cities. Under the deal, 5GIC, Europe's largest 5G research centre, will provide technological support for Greenwich's Smart City incubator space where innovators and entrepreneurs can work on applications for transport, mobility, logistics, energy, healthcare and education.
