7% of Australia broadband users receive less than half of maximum plan speed - study

Most NBN fixed-line broadband customers are receiving relatively fast internet speeds, including during busy hours. However, around 7 percent of consumers receive less than half of the maximum speed of their plan, according to ACCC's latest broadband speed data report. This second ACCC Measuring Broadband Australia (MBA) report provides data on the performance of NBN fixed-line services, expanding the report to cover six major ISPs, namely Aussie Broadband, iiNet, MyRepublic, Optus, Telstra and TPG.
