78 percent of young Brazilians use smartphones

The Millennial Survey conducted by Telefonica and which mapped the behaviour of 6,700 young people around the world in relation to political, economic and innovative positions has revealed that 78 percent of those polled in Brazil used a smartphone and 42 percent said they use a tablet. The numbers are comparable to those recorded in Western Europe and the US (84%-40% and 79%-56%, respectively) and show a significant increase compared with the same survey last year.
