911 Location Test Bed seeks location accuracy administrator

US wireless industry association CTIA's independent 911 Location Technologies Test Bed has announced a request for proposal to select an administrator for the 911 location accuracy test bed. The Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS) has been chosen as the programme manager for the test bed. ATIS will oversee test plan implementation carried out by the test bed administrator. The two-tiered partnership will ensure the test bed produces unbiased data in a timely manner for the various stakeholders in accordance with the FCC's rule.
